Md. Mobarak Hossain has graduated from Queen Margaret University (former College), Edinburgh, UK with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Advanced Nursing in 1994 with an ODA Scholarship. He completed Master of Public Health (MPH Epi.) in Epidemiology from the State University of Bangladesh (SUB) in 2009. He started his Government Job on 10th May 1983 and after successful completion, he retired on 30th December 2018. During the period of his Government Job, he worked for DGNM (former DNS) office as a Deputy Programme Manager of OP (Operation Programme) NESP for about 1 year and since January 1997 to date of his retirement he worked for Cumilla Nursing College (former Cumilla Nursing Institute) from which he retired as Nursing Instructor Incharge. He was a working member of Syllabus Development and Module writing for Bachelor of Science in Nursing Programme based on Curriculum 2006. He also worked for BNMC (former BNC) as working member of Licensing Examination System Development Committee. It is worth mentioning that he was trained on TOT at Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand with the assistance of WHO Funding. After the retirement he worked for ART Nursing College, Cumilla as a Professor and Principal from 15th February 2019 to 30th September 2021. Since 1st November 2021has been working for Enam Nursing College, Savar, Dhaka as a Professor.
